2nd Annual Trolley Trail Day - June 13, 2020!
Don't Miss the 2nd Annual Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail Day!
On Saturday, June 13, 2020 community development groups (the College Park City-University Partnership, Hyattsville CDC, and Maryland Milestones/Anacostia Trails Heritage Area Inc.), local governments, local businesses, M-NCPPC, and nonprofit organizations are hosting the 2nd Annual Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail Day!
This day will highlight and celebrate our much-loved Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail that connects Hyattsville, Riverdale Park, and College Park. Join your neighbors for a fun-filled day of activities along the Trolley Trail! Fun run, bike rides, kids activities, art, music, food and drink, and more!
Check out and share our event on Facebook HERE. Check back in a couple months HERE for the full schedule of activities and events.
Last year, over 800 people and over 40 businesses participated in the first ever Trolley Trail Day! Click HERE for a full recap. Expect this and much more in 2020!
As you navigate the Trail, you’ll find a sculptural "wayfinding" information kiosk in each town (about every mile and a half). Each kiosk features a large regional map, highlighting where the Trolley Trail meets connecting trails, as well as local maps of the nearest trail amenities and places to rest, get a bite to eat, shop, and sight-see. View the maps here.
