Sculptural Bus Shelters

Program Description

The Hyattsville Community Development Corporation, on behalf of Landex Development, LLC, accepted artist proposals for the design and fabrication of two (2) sculpturally-devised bus shelters for placement at two (2) revitalization sites, Studio 3807 and Artisan at 4100, on Rhode Island Avenue in the Prince George’s County Gateway Arts & Entertainment District. The selected design by local artists, Kyle Miller and Tim Scofield, was fabricated by Independent Custom Metalworks, and installed October 2018 at Studio 3807. A second shelter will be placed at Artisan at 4100 upon its grand opening in 2019.
