Maryland Milestones/Anacostia Trails Heritage Area, Inc.

With so many major moments in US and Maryland History, Anacostia Trails Heritage Area Inc. has launched Maryland Milestones to celebrate the unique networks, the major moments, and amazing communities of the region. Located in northern Prince George’s County – bordered by Washington D.C., Howard County, Anne Arundel County, Montgomery County, and the Baltimore/Washington Parkway, the region encompasses approximately 84 square miles.

SS200_LOGO_v1Star-Spangled 200, Inc. is the not-for-profit 501(c)3 entity that supports the fundraising goals of the Maryland War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission. Established in September 2010, Star-Spangled 200, Inc. is charged with educating the public through celebration and commemoration of the historical events of the War of 1812 by supporting the charitable and educational activities of the Maryland War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission.

Ballet, Tap and All that Jazz

Ballet-Tap-Jazz-Pink-LogoBALLET, TAP, AND ALL THAT JAZZ, has been 20 years in the making. The owner has danced and choreographed for over 30 years. This dance studio has been kept in the center of her heart for over 20 years as she educated children throughout the world. She has had the privilege of dancing with such stellar organizations as The DC YOUTH ENSEMBLE, Capitol Ballet Junior Company, Jones-Haywood School of Dance, Duke Ellington School of the Performing Arts, Ballethnic Dance Company, Doris Ray School of Dance and The Atlanta Dance Centre, and Academy of Sports as a gymnast. Dance is her passion and she is choosing to share that with the world. We are a studio that believes in technically training dancers.
