The Town of North Brentwood is planning the rehabilitation of 4516 41st Avenue (formerly Sis’s Tavern and Baby Dee’s) and the reuse and redevelopment of both 4510 and 4516 41st Avenue parcels. In this phase, the Town has directed the Hyattsville CDC to conduct and oversee a Feasibility Analysis for the renovation of the building, and provide a comprehensive assessment of redevelopment options in order for the Town to devise a Redevelopment Plan for both properties. The desire to preserve, reuse and repurpose Sis’s Tavern as an historic asset gives this project a strong cultural heritage component.
