Bursting in Air

Thank You!

Saturday, July 26, 2014

Thanks to all for your participation and support for Hyattsville CDC’s citizen paint extravaganza: Bursting in Air!  Another successful demonstration of the District-wide proposition that is Art Lives Here! We welcome your feedback, for reflection, as well as suggestions for next year with a quick survey. We also welcome photos and video you’d like to share on our Flickr Group and by YoutubeInstagramTumblrFacebook and Twitter to appear on our Storify Recap.

Without the faith and resources of our sponsors and municipal partner, the time and energy of our volunteers; the hard work of our muralists, performers, and local Hyattsville and Gateway Arts District businesses; as well as Hyattsville CDC’s fantastic staff and Board support; this year’s event would never have seen the light of day.

Maryland Milestones and the rest of our amazing sponsors and partners helped us to transform a blank and uninviting environment into a staging ground that attracted residents and visitors alike to make Hyattsville, our Arts District, and our War of 1812 Historic Heritage come alive with celebration and performance.
