The CDC is part of the Route 1 Ride Collaborative. The Mission of the Route 1 Ride is to provide fast, efficient, and inexpensive public transportation while assisting in the economic development of the Route 1 Corridor from Mount Rainier to North College Park. In 2012-2013, the CDC worked with its partners to create a bus wrap mural onto TheBus Route 17, re-branding it into the “Route 1 Ride.” For more information, visit Route1Ride.org or grab a Z-Card at an area business, civic center or the Maryland Milestones Anacostia Trails Heritage Center.
