The Hyattsville Community Development Corporation (CDC) will hold an annual meeting and election to the Board of Directors on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 7:30pm at the Hyattsville CDC Headquarters: 4314 Farragut Street, Hyattsville, MD.
In accordance with its Bylaws, the Nominating Committee is notifying the HCDC membership of the meeting, and that nominations are now open for candidacy to the three seats on the HCDC’s Board of Directors for the term ending 2023. Announcement of the pending Annual Meeting was made at the previous membership meeting prior to the Annual Meeting, and is posted to the Hyattsville CDC website and at its offices.
There are also (2) appointed Board of Directors positions to be ratified for terms through the end of 2021. There are also (3) Board of Directors positions to be ratified for terms through the end of 2022 during this meeting.
Any member of the Hyattsville CDC may nominate him/herself as a candidate by submitting his/her name in writing to the Nominating Committee, endorsed by two other members, by April 15, 2020.
The Committee will post a slate of nominees in the Hyattsville Municipal Building and at its offices no later than April 29, 2020.
A member may also present him/herself as a write-in candidate at the Annual Meeting on May 13, 2020, if supported by two other members. The election will be conducted by closed ballot.
