HYATTSVILLE, MD – After a two-year absence, the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation is now preparing 2022’s Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival for Saturday, September 17th, from 12-6 pm. In partnership with the City of Hyattsville, M-NCPPC, and a growing team of festival sponsors.

The festival, locally known as “Arts and Ales,” will feature over 100 artists, artisans, craft breweries, food trucks, drink vendors, live entertainment, and children’s activities. The event is free to the public, family-friendly, and se habla español!

Arts & Ales continues to be one of Prince George’s County’s largest gatherings of arts & craft breweries in the region. This year we expect over 5,000 attendees sprawling across three city streets in the heart of Downtown Hyattsville.

The festival provides an opportunity for local creatives to exhibit, showcase, and sell their work to a regional audience. Each year the festival demonstrates how the arts can drive positive revitalization in the Route One Corridor, the City of Hyattsville and the Prince George’s County Gateway Arts & Entertainment District; which serves as a destination for arts and cultural engagement for county residents and visitors.

There’s something for everyone at this festival. Don’t miss out on all the fun. Craft beer and mead servings will be available for purchase (ages 21+), sold by glass, and tastings of distilled spirits will be on hand. Structured and metered parking, as well as limited free parking will be available for visitors in designated lots.

Sponsorship guides, program book advertisement, and promotional opportunities are available upon request at festival@hyattsvillecdc.org

We are always looking to integrate fresh new talent. The festival is a great way to meet the community, learn about art and artists face-to-face, or gain community service hours. If you would like to volunteer for this event, reach out to jperez@hyattsvillecdc.org
