We also accept donations via PayPal! If you’d like to sponsor or support a specific Hyattsville CDC activity, please leave us a note in the PayPal checkout process. If you have any problems, please send us an email with your name, how much you’d like to donate, and the program you’d like to support to email@example.com. We can provide you with a receipt of your donation.
We're always looking for dedicated volunteers to give their time, expertise, or sweat to our many projects. Consider serving as an consultant, designing an internship, or helping with administrative tasks on a weekly or even monthly basis. HyCDC projects can range from helping to plan public art projects (mosaics, murals, children's activities), filing, tabling at conferences and meetings, exploring prospective developments plans, or cultivating a project of your own design.
You can set your availability however you wish and choose projects based on what interests you. Also see our list of other volunteer opportunities in the community.
Consider becoming a member! Members will receive a quarterly e-newsletter highlighting our recent accomplishments and plans to enhance community. Membership is open to everyone 18 years or older, for $20.00 each year.
Additionally, membership serves as an immediate guide to:
- Learning and planning opportunities
- Information on civic and cultural events
- An open forum to voice ideas and concerns on community development, planning, and advocacy
- Resources and support for local businesses and artists
